This policy explains how AiLA AI Ltd ("AiLA", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit trustaila.com or contact us. It applies to visitors to this website, not to data processed within the AiLA platform on behalf of customers (which is governed by separate data processing agreements).

2. What data we collect
When you submit the "Request early access" form on this site, we collect:
- Your work email address
- Your company name
- Any message you choose to include
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
- Device and browser type
- How you arrived at the site (referrer)
We do not collect IP addresses in identifiable form, and Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation enabled.
3. How we use your data
We use contact form data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about AiLA's early access programme. We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.
We use analytics data to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use analytics data for advertising or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Lawful basis
We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, responding to business enquiries. We process analytics data on the basis of your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer.
5. Cookies
This site uses two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function. These do not require your consent.
- Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat). These are only set if you accept analytics cookies. You can change your preference at any time using the cookie preferences link below.

6. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months or until you ask us to delete them. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
7. Third parties
We use the following third-party services in connection with this website:
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions on our behalf. Data is held on servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses.
- Google Analytics — website analytics. Data may be processed in the United States. Google is certified under the UK-US Data Bridge.
- Vercel — website hosting. Data is processed in accordance with Vercel's data processing agreement.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This website is served over HTTPS. Contact form data is transmitted to Formspree over encrypted connections.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified on this page.
